About Us
Second Hand Uniform Shop, run by a team of LPTC volunteers, stocks good quality second hand uniform items. It is an invaluable resource for parents and a great platform to recycle quality outgrown uniform, also addressing the sustainability aspect. Funds raised go towards the Lambrook Foundation and to purchase additional “icing on the cake items” in line with the school’s needs.
The uniform shop went online during the pandemic, as the restrictions meant that in-person sales would not be permitted. Aarav B, one of the pupils at Lambrook came up with the idea of running the shop as an online service with collections from a safe place. He mapped out the processes and logistics of running the shop online and built the website using an e-commerce platform. He then added matching item descriptions, organised the catalogue and created bespoke email notification templates.
The shop is now also open for 'in person' sales every Wednesday from 8.10 - 9.10 am during term times. This is in addition to our online resource.
Online Orders
The team of parent volunteers will endeavour to fulfill any orders with the best quality of items stocked in the shop. Please do bear in mind that the uniform items are second hand and by its very nature not in perfect condition. Please note that any purchases made at the shop will be added to your school bill.
The Lambrook Foundation strives to transform the lives of the pupils within our community and beyond. This enables these children to then go on to make a difference in the lives of others, both now and in the future.
Lambrook aims to raise funds that are used to provide transformational opportunities by:
- Providing transformational bursaries
- Fostering meaningful partnerships with local and international schools
- Raising funds for charities
The Foundation strives to create a brighter future for young minds, empowering them to reach their full potential and make a positive impact on the world.
Funds from the Second Hand Uniform Shop are used to support the partnership with our international school, Hope Valley Farm School in South Africa.
The funds will also be used to support charities chosen by the pupils within their respective Houses. Further, these funds are also used by the LPTC to support their wider fundraising initiatives.
